A fire erupted Saturday at Casa Cipriani, the members-only hotel, restaurant and lounge atop the iconic Battery Maritime Building in Lower Manhattan.
Video posted on social media by a person traveling by ferry showed flames engulfing a section of the hotspot’s terrace lounge as a worker used a fire extinguisher in vain trying to put them out.
The FDNY responded to a five-story waterfront building at 3:51 p.m. and had the blaze under control by 4:27 p.m. The fire spread from an air conditioner unit to the hotel’s machinery room, FDNY said.

Casa Cipriani, which sits on city-owned land, is typically off-limits to most common folks, as you must be a club member or pay upwards of $800 a night for one of 47 guest rooms.
It is the hot spot for many A-list celebs, including Leonardo DiCaprio, who has repeatedly been spotted there with new love interest Gigi Hadid.
